I just wanted to say thanks to Broadcastify and the feed providers, particularly Los Angeles County Fire. Broadcastify has kept the feeds up and running during a high volume of listeners and high demand during the LA fires. No, this was not the largest loss of structures , but it was the largest impact to a large population center, and thousands of folks listened in not because it was exciting, but because they had friends or relatives in the area affected. I would love to know if those in the area of the Palisades and Pasadena were listening This was a BIG deal, and we are not done yet.
LACoFD is to be commended on their transparency to keep Command nets V1 and V3 streaming, some jurisdictions would have had those feeds shut down to "protect the agency". These guys were very professional during a very difficult situation where they knew the outcome would be a disaster. Whomever is providing LAFD's feed, thanks also. The feed quality was fantastic on both LAFD and LACoFD's feeds.
