Recently, I traveled through Montana on Greyhound bus over the Thanksgiving holidays. No, it was not the best trip I've ever taken, but it was certainly memorable. Since I am not a fan of airlines due to airport hassle, I opted for bus trip. I know that this was a rather stupid thing to do in the month of November, but the family visit was pretty important. We ended the bus trip in Richland, Washington before returning to Texas.
The main purpose of this thread is to extend thanks to those that provided a Thanksgiving meal to the poor & weary souls on that Greyhound bus. On the previous night, I had the privilege of spending the night in the Billings Greyhound bus station with many angry passengers. What a miserable night. After finally boarding a bus on Thanksgiving day, I was faced with the task of keeping my blood sugar up since I am a Type II diabetic. At times, I was pretty concerned about the lack of places to eat on Thanksgiving. So, when I learned those at the Butte, Montana Greyhound had prepared a Thanksgiving meal, I was stunned & very thankful for this wonderful meal.
I must admit, I was pretty impressed with the Montana people. I cannot say that scanning was very active in comparison to Texas, but it was pretty interesting.
Again, thanks.
