Too many folks to thank individually, so let me say thanks to everyone who has been helping me out.

Really nice of you folks to take the time, and is much appreciated.

Am getting to understand all of this, a bit, and couldn't without all of your help.
Sure isn't intuitive, at least for me.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I operated telecomm test equipment in the Air Force, and I've been a 9-1-1 dispatcher for over 3 decades, and the BCD436HP is the most complex electronic device I have ever operated. I've had mine for almost a year, and I'm still making mistakes and still learning things. The days of plugging in crystals seem like a lifetime ago.
