Best scanner

One thing for sure, I'd get a DIGITAL scanner because sooner or later something you'll want to hear is going to be digital. And being a Radio Shack GRE fan I vote for the PRO-96.

Good luck,
George

Isn't that like asking "What is the best (insert any object here) available?

Some friendly advice. Decide what you want to listen to and what bells and whistles you want in a scanner. You're not going to really enjoy scanning if you don't take some time to learn about it. Scanners are so much more than a home stereo system.

Good Luck
