at the last minute I have decided to go to the ham-fest in Burly ID
Are they using the 700 meg system yet for anything?
I have a bunch of UHF freqs for the State Patrol and other stuff plus VHF freqs

I'm coming from Washington State through Oregon

You can still get Boise Fire & EMS on VHF, however just about all the local PD's on our end of the State are on 700 now...and encrypted.

If you're going to Burley you will want the Twin Falls area including Gooding, Twin Falls, Jerome and Cassia Counties as well as SIRCOMM which also covers Gooding, Lincoln, Jerome, and Twin Falls Counties Southern Idaho Regional Communications Center (SIRCOMM) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Twin Falls County, Idaho (ID) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Jerome County, Idaho (ID) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Cassia County, Idaho (ID) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Minidoka County, Idaho (ID) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
and ISP Region 4 State Police Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Everything in this area of the state is not 700 and is probably pretty well covered by the RR database for UHF/VHF.

You'll find that Canyon County law enforcement (Caldwell & Nampa) is on 700 MHz, encrypted; fire is still VHF in the clear.

Ada County (Boise, Meridian) law is on 700 MHz but with dispatches in the clear; fire is VHF also.

Idaho State Police from Oregon to as far east as Glenns Ferry is still UHF, as are the SW Idaho counties other than Canyon and Ada.

That's as far as my "ears" can hear.

Live audio feed of Ada County and Boise Police Primary

I know someone has a live feed running with just fire and ems for Ada County. Anyone planning on doing a live feed online for the police primary radio channels?
