Mercy Regional EMS launching ambulance services in Sand Springs

Mercy Regional EMS, in collaboration with the Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the launch of its ambulance services in Sand Springs on Thursday.

Seems to be a trend lately. Edmond, Bixby, and now Sand Springs. I wonder who is next? Tulsa? OKC?

I think Tulsa will be the last hold out. The idea that OKC is investing so much into an in-house EMS program just to “supplement” is laughable. It’s merely a foundation. I think Edmond long term will do the same beginning with the first two “Squads” (…ambulances) that are out in service.

Mercy Sand Springs has turned up on OKWIN, talkgroup 1913.
They still use 461.875 MHz DMR to dispatch in Glenpool

Great scanning! I'm glad they are getting on OKWIN for the Sand Springs/Tulsa area. It seems to work well for them going back and forth to Vinita. Thanks for the update Fast2!
