Been trying for a couple of weeks now to hit the repeater but have had no luck so far, I have been able to receive other hams on the downlink freq though.

@Rt169Radio Make sure you’re sending the tone. Additionally, you will have a better chance during a late night or early morning pass when other hams are sleeping, especially those pushing more energy into their antenna.

I would like to attempt to monitor this from Northern Illinois, how should I program this into a BCD325P2 or Baofeng UV-5r?

EDIT: I mean, how do I program to go with the doppler effect or do I not have to worry about that?

miklor.com posted this article about communicating with the ISS

There is information about Doppler shift and a CHIRP file link with frequencies & settings
for connecting to the ISS repeater

Hope this helps & Good Luck
