Most Zones have been narrowbanded as of yesterday...Zone 5 was the latest. The following Zones have been narrowbanded as of today: Zones 1,2,3,4,5,10,11,12,13....

The following Zones are scheduled to be Narrowbanded: Zones 6,7,8,9....Districts will be turning in their radios to be narrowbanded, receive "temporary replacement" radios, then the assigned radios will be returned and be fully narrowband complianant.

Once all the Zones are Narrowbanded, the City-Wide channels will be next with the same radio procedure to be followed for assigned units on their specific city-wide.

For us scanner listeners, you'll know your Zone is being re-programmed for narrowbanding as they switch to City-Wide 4 at 0700 hrs.on that day (Has been Tuesday's lately). They usually switch back around noon and tell all cars to switch back to your normal Zone.."switch to A-xx on your radio". A-Bank is the Zone narrowband...the City-Wides will be B {1-7} when they become narrowband complianant.
