Do you still use Uniden product?

If so, will you be willing to do a comparison between the later model Unidens and your GRE-500?

P.S. I live in Burlington, not near as much radio activity compared to Charlton & Hamilton city.

That's an excellent video mclove ! I must say, I prefer the screen up top as is the 106, the 500 seems like ya gotta look down on it. Both radios sound great. Nice work with the LEDs, all you need now is some disco music !

Just a thought wonder if the speaker position has anything to do with the sound, if indeed they are the same speaker.

I noticed the 106 screen looked more clear / brighter.
Is it just the video? Or maybe that the GRE is a year old and the 106 brand spanking new?

While the audio is good on the 500, it sounds significantly better on the 106! Why the difference. It sounds like the 500 speaker is being overdriven.

Compare the audio on the 500 to the 396 and the 500 seems a lot better.
