Had a good experience with them as well. Ordered on Wednesday of last week, got it Friday. They shipped directly from Ohio; wondering if they had GRE drop-ship directly? Either way, good service and good prices.

I too had a great experience ordering from http://www.theradiocompany.com Called and spoke to Mike last week Wednesday and ordered a PSR-600. It arrived in the next day, Thursday afternoon.

Now, that's customer service!

Is The Radio Company an Ohio based company? According to Amstel78's post it was shipped from Ohio. But when I go to there website and click About US it doesn't state where there physical location is. Just curious that's all.

The Radio Company's address was somewhere in Arizona I think ... at least according to the FedEx tag. But the shipping address of the company where the radio came from was in Ohio. Not sure if GRE is out of Ohio; their website claims they're in CA, but perhaps they might have warehouses out of Ohio. When I spoke to Mike at the RadioCO, he said it's coming out of Ohio to reach me faster.

Anyone who wants to see where their shipment came from, just do a tracking of the UPS tracking number printed on the box. Mine came from Ohio and I live in Michigan so it was next day.

Id guess drop-shipping, Ohio would be a good place for a warehouse to serve the north east (instead of shipping all from Arizona/California).

I believe in a previous thread, Mike stated there are 2 shipping points he uses. One is in Ohio, and the other is on the west coast somewhere.

I live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. I spoke to Mike about a month ago, on the phone, and found him to be very customer oriented. Friendly, very knowledgeable and took all the time necessary to answer my questions. All that topped of with probably the best prices around.........

When you call the 800 number you get Arizona, but they ship from at least two warehouses in the US. My radio was shipped from Ohio.

I spoke with Mike on monday, got the radio today. The transaction was quick and precise. Packaging was very good. Only thing that would have made it perfect was the ability to track the package but no big deal.


I will definately order from this company again.

Bought my PSR 500 from the the Radio Company a few weeks ago as well. Great service, fast shipping and great discount. Also, am very pleased with the PSR 500. I scan in NE Kansas, west of Topeka.

I live in Arizona and my PSR-500 shipped from Ohio. If there was a warehouse on the west coast, then it should have shipped from there. It would have taken at least 2 days less than the 5 that it took to get to me.

The Radio Company is located in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Their price on the PSR-500 can't be beat. I also agree with others. They could make it better by providing tracking numbers. When you're waiting for a new radio, each passing day is an eternity. Being able to see the progress would work better than Valium

Ordered mime on Monday no word of shipment no tracking # e-mail the Radio co. no reply I guess it just goes along with my luck hope to get some type of responce soon!!
