the Ron and Fez show

So I’m driving home between Regina and Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada (VE5 land) at about 1810 UTC yesterday and I’m listening to MP3’s on my GPS. I have the GPS broadcasting the MP3’s on 107.7 FM and all of a sudden I start to get interference. The interference is so bad that it wipes out the GPS signal completely.

I turn off the GPS and listen to the show on the radio. It’s called the Ron and Fez show. It went on for about 10 minutes and then faded out. I looked on the internet and I found a lot of information about Ron and Fez however I couldn’t find anywhere where they were being broadcasted on 107.7 FM. The show is now on XM, not FM.

I’m going to assume it is being rebroadcasted on FM and I’m not getting some weird XM stuff. I looked on the net with no luck, does anyone know where they would be broadcasting from in the US on FM?

As far as I know, they are only on XM. I listen to the Virus on XM (Opie and Anthony mainly) all the time.

it might have been a car xm radio that has a fm transmitter.mines on 89.1 most of the time.

I thought about that but I was in the middle of nowhere with no cars or trucks in sight. And whatever it was it was powerful enough to wipe out the signal from my GPS. Very odd.
