what are the various zd setting for in tune and search their is zd, ZD ,zD ,Zd. I believe it stands for zero dynamic but the manual dosnt go in to specifics does anyone now what the settings are used for in their corresponding zds

Ty Detroit so the z in capital is zeromatic on and lowercase off as same is d in delay from your experience is it better to have them on how often do adjacent frequencies interfere with centerline?

Z = zeromatic on
z = zeromatic off
Delay same thing.

Zeromatic is only when you are searching and the scanner picks up an active frequency. It will try to zero in on the exact frequency. Sometimes with strong signals they will stop off of the actual frequency a step or two and you will have the wrong frequency shown. I usually press up and down and see for myself if it is the correct frequency since zeromatic hasnt always worked for me on strong signals. I would still recommend using it when searching.
