I use arc433 software for my radio shack scanner. I really am not up to par as far as programming the unit. (what should be marked as trunking, priority etc.) So i do not know if i am getting the full potential of scanning out of my unit. I see in my arc433 software that i can connect directly to the site. Will this auto matic give me perameters and codes that i can download into my unit? with proper trunking settings etc.
Any thoughts would be apreciated. Just not sure what can happen if i connect through software direct to site. Advantages?

Yes, it does all the work for you.....Well most of it. You can still select what or who you want to import into the software. But ARC and RR.com work great together. Go for it!

does the program label TGID's for you also, if your scanner supports it?
