SDS100/SDS200: Thinking about purchasing SDS100 used?

Thinking about purchasing SDS100 used? Any thoughts on this?
Can the serial number be transferred to my account?
What about DMR/Provoice/NXDN upgrade keys?
Does warranty only hold true for the original purchaser?
Does repair campaigns fall under warranty claims?
Any specific issues with a SDS100 I should look out for (not including the battery upgrade)?

The warranty is to the original owner. Does not transfer

I guess I would want to know why they are selling a fairly new scanner? What's wrong with it?

I almost sold mine to buy a SDS 200 but I decided to keep it.

No warranty, but if the upgrades are in the radio, they come with it. Those are purchased by serial number of the radio and cannot be transferred to other radios.

Unless I could put the radio in my hand and test it to know it is operating correctly, and know the reason it is being sold, I would stay away, but that is just me.

On the other hand, if I knew the radio was good, and it was a GREAT deal compared to a new price, I would go for it. Especially if the upgrades are in it and the used price is significantly lower than new.
