• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

Theoretically it could be useful for connecting to computer speakers, the aux input to a car stereo, etc., but bluetooth device compatibility has been very hit-or-miss, and it changes - I have an inexpensive "blackweb" device purchased from Walmart a while back. It (mostly) worked with V1.20 firmware, but does not work with V1.30 (it pairs, but no audio comes through it). An older Docooler 2-in-1 device still works.

Hopefully the coupon will still be valid when @Nchpiboy confirms that it works :)

Of course, we must consider that this product is produced in...and, perhaps, even sent from....Communist China. And, considering the politics of that place, and their unwillingness to respect American patents and trade agreements, there's no reason to believe that they will safeguard credit card information either.

Considering it's being sold on Amazon, and not direct from the Communist Chinese hooligan thieves, I don't see how those red commies could get any financial info from the buyer. Last I checked, Amazon is based in the USA! Put a big flag in the pickup bed and chant USA! USA! USA!

Hmm I have one of these different brand though doesn't work with G5 because its a streaming device and I believe the G5 Bluetooth needs a cellphone type Bluetooth device.

I'm using this one at the moment connected to a RS Pro-135 sending signal to a bluetooth speaker. I also use it set to receive connected to my Onkyo AVR and stream Youtube from my Moto E3 to my AVR.

Next thing I plan to use it for is to transmit scanner signal in my Rav4 to this amp with two four ohm speakers.

Just got mine. I ordered it for other reasons, but I can report:

- G4 V1.40-T02E : it finds this BT hub, but is unable to connect.
- Icom R30: same thing. In general my R30 is more BT friendly than the G4.

Still can't beat it for $10!

Just ordered one- worth a try for $10 ish. Thanks for the post
Follow up on this device: Works great! Sends audio from my BCD325 headphone jack to my Bluetooth headphones or my Bluetooth speaker.
You can pair and use with two devices at once.

That's cool, but since this is the Unication forum, I think we really want to know if it works with a Gx pager. Based on @eorange 's post, it sounds like that'd be a "negative"...
