this is frustrating..trunking mpscs with pro94

ok i have a radioshack pro 94 and ive been messing with it getting lakeside malls security and partridge creek and all, but im trying to get macomb county police. i followed the manual and entered 866.06250 866.13750 866.18750 866.37500 866.42500 866.43750 866.76250 866.90000 866.98750
867.38750 867.48750 867.65000 867.67500 867.73750 867.98750 868.26250* 868.98750*.......the macomb county simulcast. im located on 21 and romeo.


but heres the thing, i entered them in and hit SRC just like it said so it would search through the freq for talkgroups and nothing happens. ive tryed everything possible. i tryed it all on systems on here,moto1,2,ed,and the other 2 i forgot what they were called.



anyone got some tips here?

You need a digital scanner to receive digital systems.

The Pro-94 is not capable of monitoring the MPSCS.

If you are getting Radio shack models,try the Pro-96.You will get everything you need on the MPSCS

There are a number of models out there that will work with the MPSCS.

Uniden has the BCT396T Handheld, and the BCT996T Base/Mobile. There are older versions of Uniden radios that will work also (BC296D and BC796D).

Radio Shack has the Pro-96 Handheld and Pro-2096 Base/Mobile. Both are very good radios and work well, although they have been on the market now for quite some time.

The Newcommer to the Scanner sales is GRE (although they made the Pro-96 and Pro-2096 for Radio Shack, they just moved into the direct sales area). At this point, there is only the PSR-500 Handheld available. The PSR-600 base version is due out soon (expected release dates vary from end of December to Mid January according to various posts on the boards here)

Of these, my recomendation would be the GRE models, although I admit I have no experience with the Uniden models at all.
