In Texas and along IH35 and I44 , it is pretty active on channel 19. I use mine every day. Nothing gets you around a major highway shutdown tan talking to others with a CB radio. Now, the accuracy of reporting radar traps is better than it was in the seventies because less four-wheelers are involved.
