In programing all TN THP Districts, I have a problem finding which is district 6/8.
The best resource I have found is this page:

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&aid=641

...But it lists 2 districts as #8 !!??!! TYPO! :shock:

No big deal, but I am tagging each district by area as in "Nashville area THP".

Can anyone tell for sure if the REAL district is Jackson area or Cumberland platue area???
Thanks :roll:

Right here...
Districts 2,6,7,8 all use the same full duplex pair but with diffrent tones.
There are many repeated freuqencies state wide.

Thanks Mark,

I have all the freq's &PL's programmed.

I just want the correct area for districts 6 & 8 so I can tell via text comments what freq's are talking & learn to utilize the correct PL's & freq's for the 8 different districts as I move around the state.

By selecting the correct district I can lockout the other ones & get much better scan/hit rate.

If you looked at the district map in the link above you noticed there are 2 districts listed as 8 and none listed as 6.

Thanks for the reply

Hope this helps:

District 1 - Knoxville - 1100 series - F3 = 42.56
District 2 - Chattanooga - 2200 series - F1 = 42.42

District 4 - Memphis - 4400 series - F3 = 42.56
District 5 - Fall Branch - 5500 series - F1 = 42.42
District 6 - Cookeville - 6600 series - F1 = 42.42
District 7 - Lawrenceburg - 7700 series - F1 = 42.42
District 8 - Jackson - 8800 series - F1 = 42.42

F2 is car to car simplex of F1. F1 is semi-duplex, not repeated.

Each district has multiple sites with different PL in, 1 PL out.

F5 thru F8 are mobile relays with various PLs per district.
The old radios had multi-PL select, A thru H.

New radios are Kenwood with cars having 3 radios low band, VHF, and UHF along with vehicular repeaters.

F5 = 45.58
F6 = 45.62
F7 = 45.66
F8 = 45.70
