THP has made changes to the District PLUS COMBINED D4 and D8 Dispatch to Jackson and closed the Memphis Dispatch over a year ago.
Obion Lake and Dyer Counties are part of D8 now.

Same thing happened with D-1 and D-5 (East TN).
I can never hear them anymore. I have TACN, and both Arlington and Memphis loaded in my SDS100 and never hear them! Why?

Memphis and Shelby County have asked for more help from THP for traffic enforcement. THP is short staffed in Memphis and is trying to add 13 new troopers. In the mean time, THP sends down district 8 troopers on overtime to work saturations on state roads in the Memphis area. You should hear them on District 4 when doing saturations. They have worked Union Avenue (US 64), Stage Road (TN 15), Summer Avenue (US 64/70/79) and Wolfchase area (US 64), plus probably others.
