THP Pursuit Ends with PIT Maneuver in Knoxville

Several THP and KCSO units were involved in the pursuit on I-40 East through Knox County which ended up at the 387, just past the I-275 split. The driver and passenger were shot multiple times by responding officers. The driver was wanted for 1st Degree murder by CBP.

I-40 East is currently closed, and ALL traffic is exiting. The pursuit began in west Knox county near Watt Road around 19:20.
