Thrane & Thrane TT-3004A Portable Antenna

I picked up a used T&T Capsat Terminal portable antenna. the antenna works great, but there is a periodic beeping alarm on the antenna when I use it. The antenna requires a 12v DC power source - which I have injected. However, the beeping alarm does not reproduce when it is connected the the Capsat terminal it came with - it beeps ones on power up and that's it. Not sure if this alarm is due to the power injection I'm applying of if there is something that the terminal is doing I do not know about. The documentation does not specify anything related to the alarm. Also, I cannot find any information online.

If you have any experience with this unit or know something about it, please let me know.
