29 July 2020 / 0600 hours MST - Phoenix Regional Fire Departments are working a third alarm fire and partial bridge collapse resulting from a Union Pacific train derailment in Tempe, AZ.

Tempe, AZ has significant traffic restrictions and delays. the Loop 202 freeway is closed until further notice, the Light Rail transit system is shut down going into the East Valley, No reported injuries at this time, but with ambient air temperatures expected to exceed 116 degrees today, firefighters and emergency crews are likely to experience heat related problems.
