Mostly because i was tired of them sitting in a pile on my kitchen table.

I was at harbor freight buying cheap ****, so i grabbed this box too.

There are 3 Retivis portables, two of which i got at a random equipment sale, one of which i bought as a customer return on amazon.
There is also a Talkpod A36 (locked to GMRS, because its absolute crap on the VHF side), and a TIDRADIO H8 which is actually not horrible.

The chargers for all 5, plus a car charger with 2 USB C cables (because the Talkpod and the TIDRADIO have USB C batteries) fit under the radios themselves.

Very nice! I assume the box is solid foam and you just cut the shapes out for what yo want?

The high end boxes have solid foam, those look like the prescored foam where 99.99% of each cube/rectangle is cut and there's a little tab on each holding it in place. Get a xacto knife to cut it nicely or just grab and twist each piece.

Downside is the precut end pieces nearest the equipment will slowly get loose and fall out over time, the upside is they are more flexible with less work for modifying them.

Exactly this. They are prescored. There are 4 total layers. Top and bottom layers arent scored at all, top layer is egg carton shaped and *should* be glued into the box top, bottom is a little denser then the middle.

Center two layers are pre cut and you pull out what you want.

This let me put the charger bases under the radios out of the way, since a majority of the time i'll only be grabbing the radios.
