I hope this is the right place to start this topic. I am travelling this weekend to Thunder for about the 8th year. Every year I look for info from the RR forums. I use a PSR500 for most of my monitoring. Have there been any significant changes to the local Metrolink system?

Also, anything early on the aviation side? I find it is very helpful to have some of this pre-loaded in the radio(s) before I head down. BTW, we are coming from the Greater Cincinnati area (I actually live in Covington, KY)..

Thanks,

Rod Villari

Thanks Rod - I'll add these to my lists for next year!

FWIW: The 154.92 is KSP. Troopers use their portable radios for event communications and these go through a repeater.

The 851.5125 is part of the National Public Safety Mutual Aid channel system. I think this frequency is used either completely in Indiana or if there is a need for Indiana and Kentucky units to communicate with each other.
