Should be interesting to monitor. When the Blue Angels came to KFNL I monitored via the scanner and used an SDR connected to a tablet and monitored the ADS-B from aircraft using Avare ADSB Pro which seems to be now called ADSB Receiver Pro. Didn't see the Blue Angels use ADS-B though.

Very stupidly, the airport does not allow scanners and whatnot. And I wasn't paying for a ticket so hung out outside the airport.

Boy, do I miss the shows at El Toro. Even saw the shuttle land at KEDW while living in California.

I've never seen the Thunderbirds in person, but I did see them on TV most Saturday mornings.

Keep in mind the day prior (Friday) is usually a practice run for the Thunderbirds and includes most the activities that will be in the actual show. Often a good opportunity to catch the comms, and demos without the the crowds. When they were at JBLM (Tacoma) in 2023 when I was there the Friday was an actual show for the VIPs, special needs, wounded warriors type groups. I was able to catch it from a nearby parking structure just outside the base and able to use all my toys. They usually arrive on Wednesday and may do some scouting / PR runs, etc on Thursday that can help confirm frequencies and the like.
