I've found a new TIII system which has been setup but i'm struggling to understand how to decode the SysCode in order to figure out NID, Area Length and Site. I've read the DSD+ readme over and over but I can't seem to wrap my head around it.

Frequency A
Syscode=11.00.0001100100
Event Log shows H1-13.5 DCC:0

Frequency B
Syscode=11.00.0001100101
Event Log shows H1-13.6 DCC:0

From the above i've got it as a Huge TIII network as opposed to Tiny, Small or Large. But i get lost after that point as all the examples i've found in the readme and from what other RR users have posted don't match the same format.

Anyone able to help shed some light for me ?

Thanks

Frequency A
Syscode=11.00.0001100100
Event Log shows H1-13.5 DCC:0

Model = 11 = 3 = huge.

Network ID = 00 = 0; add 1 to get NID=1

Area/site = 0001100100; you have to split those bits somewhere.

DSD+ is splitting it into Area = 0001100 (12); add 1 to get 13, and Site = 100 (4); add 1 to get 5.

Frequency B
Syscode=11.00.0001100101
Event Log shows H1-13.6 DCC:0

Area = 0001100 (12); add 1 to get 13, and Site = 101 (5); add 1 to get 6.

The bit field split point is chosen when the system operator sets things up, but there is no OTA data to tell you (or DSD+) what point was selected, so you have to guess based on the area/site bit patterns used by all of the system's sites. So is it:

00011001 00 (26-1)

-or-

0001100 100 (13-5)

-or-

000110 0100 (7-5)

-or-

00011 00100 (4-5)

-or-

something else?

At the moment, you have too little data to tell.

Thanks for the help with the binary. Those are the only 2 sites in the city currently. Would capturing more CC data make it easier to tell or is it a case of guess and see what works ?

I have the following syscodes I'm trying to figure out :

01.0000001.00001 (site 1)
01.0000001.00010 (site 2)
01.0000001.00011 (site 3)
01.0000001.00100 (site 4)
01.0000001.00101 (site 5)

Thanks
