I guess it is that time. Most of the flightline switched over to the ALMR. Before long the S.P.s will be there and I will have nothing on base to listen to.
Time for a 796D

All right! Go for it! You won't regret it. Besides the digital capabilities, there's many other features in it to make it worthwhile.
EDIT: You know, now that I think about it, you might wanna hold off on the Unidens because they don't have the capabilities to truntrack the ALMR system. Maybe their next version of Digital radios will work but not the current ones.
However, with the current Radio Shack Pro-96, you can enter all six tables that are needed to track this system properly. I will be posting the correct settings for the Pro-96 sometime this week on the database here....
2nd Edit: Just received my BC296D from repairs and I'll be darned, now it seems to work and track the ALMR system. I'm not sure if it's something they did or they just fix it and did the last upgrade that came out which I didn't get to do before it broke....
