Hitsfm,

I have 143.595 as a Tac frequency. If there any other(s)? If so, can you provided them to me? Anyone knows what SWAT was doing last night on Borden (I won't say the numerical adress)? I started listenning 30 minutes into the stake-out/surveillance before the arrest.

Please advise.

When I am in Timmins I have always been listening to the main channel of: 142.485.

And I never seen them use this channel: 143.595. So is this a Timmins Police channel and if so is it for police or something else like swat or a TAC channel. Let me know so I will know if this channel is used.

Also I am wondering what other channels (Frequencies) they use for the swat teams and other special stuff like that, when something important is going on in Timmins. so I can enter them in and listen to them every time I go to Timmins.

dvdbir you said that you heard them and if you did what channel(s) (frequency(ies) did you hear them on.

And wondering if anyone else would know of any other channels the Timmins Police uses other than their main channel: 142.485. So I can enter them in and listen to them when I am in Timmins when I go there.

I will be waiting for any replies to these questions. Thanks.

Check out the Cochrane County page under Timmins. There were some recent updates. Last night, I heard SWAT on 143.595 (witch is refered as Ch. 3 by TPD ). They also use that channel for the « R.I.D.E Program ». Was wondering if they uset it for other stuff? I too, was wondering if Timmins PD use any other frequencies?

Lat me know.

re: Timmins Police

143.595 repeater replaced the old 141.585 simplex channel they used to use. They also have 2 drug channels on a different radio system that is still in use. In fact, they were used by their drug unit last during the last drug seizure. (In conjunction with the OPP and RCMP) - It became an issue to change the Channel 3 TAC channel when dispatch could not hear the constables on the old channel 3, thus they moved to the new system.

re: Timmins Police

Dispatch now has access to their Channel 3 as well and can transmit and receive to the units as you noticed.

I'm guessing 141.585 is no longer in use?

Can the 2 drug channels be monitor by scanners? If so, may I have the frequencies/system info so I could program them into my scanner? (If you don't want to give out the freq on the thread you can write me a PM)

Thanks a lot.

In answer to your questions, 141.585 is no longer in use, and yes, the 2 drug channels are accessible with a scanner, provided that you have a way to decypher voice inversion (HINT)

Ok I guess that means we are out of luck for listening to those drug channels unless we know how to decypher voice inversion. No problem.

And one other question, is there such a channel for the Timmins police such as: 141.185 Because that is what a friend gave me. or was it supposed to be the now no longer used channel: 141.585. Let me know.

And is there any other channels I should know about that you haven't mentioned yet to listen to. Let me know, so I will be up to date with all of the channels they are using.

And for their portables what kind of channels would they have on there that would be good to listen to, to put into my scanner. Let me know.

I will be waiting for any replies to these questions. Thanks again.

re 164.430

164.430 is not one of the 2 channels that you are looking for. That is a delivery service that uses voice inversion on their radios. They use a Motorola repeater that is shared by several companies.

Ok. If you say now that 164.430 is not one of the two drug channels.

Then could you please tell me what the two freq's are, so we can stop asking.

So please tell me what the TWO freq's are either on here or in a PM.

PLEASE. Thanks.

You could go out into the streets nightly and start selling.....make sure you have your radio on search....and sit back and listen. I'm sure you'll eventually hear them. If ya don't. I'm sure you'll get an up close of there radios and you could ask them directly.

Sorry for the sarcasim....but I just had to ;)

Robin/Ralph or whatever your name is, please stop posting the same question over and over.

If somebody wants to share the frequencies with you then they will either post them here, submit them to the database or email them to you privately.

Asking the same question using multiple user names doesn't accomplish anything.
