Tinker was having a training exercise today North of AFB, according to News 9.

As I past through, I caught the following, but it did not sound related to
any exercise:

406.1625-Radio traffic
408.0250-O.P. Isle, Using names vs. Number designators
416.4250-Sounds like Mtc.
413.0750-Talking about pallets
415.2000-Radio traffic
413.2250-Crossing runway
417.2000-Radio traffic
416.8750-Headquaters
151.9250-Mtc. Base

Anyone else catch anything?

I thought I heard on Ch. 5 that the training was at Ft. Sill, not Tinker. But checking all three OKC station's websites failed to turn up the story, so I can't say for sure.

Anybody else know?

TINKER

Scott Ogle on News 9 was saying something like:

" If you hear gunshots and etc., today do not worry, it will just be Tinker
AFB having a drill today, just North of the base".

Do not know.

........On "crayons" note, I will continue to scan for whats left of the week

when I am in the MWC Area.

Frequency Search

Layman--

One of the great things about this site is Lindsay has put in so many great features that even those of us who work on the site can't always keep track of all of them. :)

There is a search feature on the Oklahoma Page of the database. It's at the bottom of the page.

You just enter the frequency in question and it shows if it is already in the database.

415.200MHz is the downtown federal building security.
416.875 is the FAA MMAC Security at the airport.

As you have noticed, there is a lot of UHF traffic eminating from Tinker. A great deal of it is just standard operations normal for a large plant of any kind.
