Greetings all,

In the next month, it appears that Baptist will replace MedicOne as the EMS provider. Today, you can hear Tipton County dispatch MedicOne on the Fire Dispatch VHF channel (and continues the conversation on the encrypted UHF MotoTrbo system), and I was wondering if anyone has heard if Baptist (or whatever service is taking over) is planning to do the same, or will they dispatch on a company frequency? Thanks all.

As I see the new ambulances rolling around, I will confirm the company.

Haven't seen any of the new units yet, but they have "Tipton X" callsigns. The highest I have heard so far is "Tipton 5".

Thanks for that. I have it in my scan list and I'm not hearing anything. I suspect, that like MedicOne before it, they are handling all Tipton County traffic on the encrypted MotoTrbo system.
