TK 3140 scan indicator problems

Ok so i just got a 3140 off ebay and i love it except for one thing. When i updated the firmware the scan indicator changed to a small 3 instead of the upside down triangle. Can any one tell me how to fix this????

I have a 2140 and have always had the "3" but I also have the "scn" icon overhead. I cant help you go back to the upside down arrow but I am curious about the firmware upgrade you did and exactly what changes it made to your 3140?

the firmware upgraded the fleetsync features in the radio and im not sure about anything else
