Greetings everyone,
This is my first post here, so I'll get right to it. I recently bought a Kenwood TK-370 that has the FPP opened up on it, it's also my first attempt at using commercial gear. I have programmed Amateur Radio repeaters into it and carry on conversations, but I keep getting reports of low audio. I close talk it to the point where I'm practically swallowing the HT. I've searched High and Low for an answer to this, but can't find anything. I'm thinking there has to to be a way to increase the mic gain (there's four pots under the board, but I can't find a service manual to tell me which one does what).
If anyone can aged some light on this, it is appreciated.
