Tk 370

Hello everyone, I recently recieved 2 TK-370's and have NO idea as to where to start to program them. The system I want to program is an LTR system. I have no software, cables or anything other then the radios, any help would be appreciated.

If they are kenwoods, I don't think those versions do LTR

They are kenwoods and when I bought them I was under the impression that they do track LTR as these radios are still being used by whom I want to listen to and they are "supposedly" using a LTR system.

1st, are they 370 or 370G versions? I've used both the 270 & 270G, and I've never seen anything that says either of the series do LTR. There are other kenwoods that cover that, as well as some scanners.

Here is a page that shows SOME of the current and recent HTs that kenwood has sold. The 373 and 380 (among others) do LTR


Just a WILD guess here, but of they are indeed 370s, they could also have a Smartrunk controller installed. Anyway, good luck, it's my bedtime....

can help you program, but i know that the software says nothing about ltr or atlleast my copy,

I am not sure if the system I want to monitor have new radios or not, but i definetly know they are on LTR. I do need help PG'ing them, lots of if on fact. I would like to monitor the ranges of the typical stuff, police, fire, emts's, etc. I am located in 28719 if that helps. I would like to know the software I would need to program these so I could be prepared for your help. Brent

They are in fact 370's , not 370 g's
