Hello,
I got a used dash mount TK-790 that has almost no audio. With volume at full you can just barely hear anything however when I first power it up I get a very loud beep. All connections look good. I swapped control heads thinking maybe the speaker but it did the same thing. Also tried an external speaker off of pins 2 and 6 but audio was still very faint. Also tried another 3 pin to 6 pin jumper. Could it somehow be stuck in mute mode? I tried reprogramming it too and nothing.
Any other suggestions?
Also I noticed it had a small jumper wire on the main board going from RST (where top board connects to lower board) to NC (where the control head plugs into board). My other 790s don't have this jumper wire.
Thanks,
BL
