• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Hello everybody. I have a real quick question. Does anybody know which
radio(s) the TMN1005B microphone is compatible with? I have 2 of them
that have no connector on the ends. They're 6 wire + shield with fork
connectors on the ends. I clicked on the 'purchase' button in haste and
just assumed they would have a connector (like the other 2 that I got)
and they would be useable with either my CDM1250, or MCS2000 radios.

I guess part II of the question would be, if anybody knows the correct pinout
wiring to make them work on my CDM or MCS radios. ie Which color wire
would go to which pin of an RJ connector.

Thank you for any help

Really? Can't believe they're that old. Both of these mics are "mint condition".
Do you think I can put an RJ on the end and use for either CDM, MCS or even
and XPR5550?

You shoud be able to make it work with any RJ45 mic radio. Not the XPR. I don't see how you would get a RJ45 crimped onto that fat cable that the mic uses. I guess you'd have to splice in something else that you can crimp onto.
