I'd like to make a simple request of the person(s) who are adding a great deal of Illinois related data to the wiki. In the future, at the end of each article, please add the following line. This line invokes a Wiki-based indexing routine

[[Category:Location Specific Info]]

I think I've indexed all the data entered so far.

Thanks for all the contributions, and for the support. It's appreciated....73 Mike

One comment I have is for people making county pages to make sure the page names are descriptive enough. Ex. there are two pages: Kane and Cook. If there are Kane or Cook cities or counties elsewhere in the U.S. people may get confused unless we title them like "Kane County (IL)".

I'm still learning how the whole thing works.

1 of the things I found yesterday, was that pages need IL attached to the counties that are named that.

At first I wasn't sure how it all worked. (new pages from links, etc.)

I'm trying... it'll be a little slow at first.

And yes, the is a lot of formatting missing.

I'll get to it as soon as I can.

One question I do have, is how do you change the name of a page after it has been created?

Thanks
Terry

Terry, there should be a 'MOVE' tab at the top of each article. It's pretty much self explanatory; it will move all the components of an article to a new name. Note though that you will need to change everywhere that old article is referred to manually.
