There will be a lot of cross patching going on since I expect officers from outside of Boston to be in to assist. In the past BAPERN 3, one of the 8Tac91, the Federal Interop VHF, have all been patched together.

BPD 16 seems to be in use for crews set up barricades, which isn't that interesting.

I'd also listen to the MSP "Statewide" TG since the Air Wing operates on that. Boston EMS will be using a Tac channel, maybe Tac 5 or Tac 6 as well, I expect.

If Boston FD has anything going, I'd expect it to be on Channel 4. And the Transit Police may have units there as well as there are a couple of T stations nearby.

The DCR Rangers at the State House are also involved, but I don't think they have anything patched in. No doubt the MSP will also have extra Troopers in and around the State House.

BPD 9 being used as a Talk Around channel, I think by command officers. Discussion about confiscating sticks and other potential weapons, but they didn't mention from which side.

Typical for a large event in Boston. If the Red Sox make it deep into the playoffs, expect the same thing.

The BLM crowd has reached the area of the Common and arrests are starting to be made.

Boston FD is using Channel 3, Boston EMS is using Tac 3.

At last count, BPD Citywide patched to 6 different frequencies or talkgroups

I think the one you have tagged as CW2 ,is actually CW3. Or my tagging might be wrong.
I have CW3 as 2825 on the 700 system, and 45200 on Zone 1. It carries a variety of BPD districts, in no particular order. Is that what you were hearing?

Correct I was/have been hearing BPD on 2825/49200 for a while now. I have seen two different numberings for the citywide channels, as to which is correct I'm not positive about. This is what I have in my scanner for the time being.

2817 Boston Citywide ATG
2819 Boston Call-In
2821 Boston Emergency
2823 Boston Citywide 1
2825 Boston Citywide 2
2827 Boston Citywide 3
2829 Boston Citywide 4

What you have as CW2, I have as CW3. I have an older spread sheet from a radio tech which I think of as more or less official. I'll have to recheck and see what is what. In any case, it's the same TG number, if not the same tag.

CW-2 [Events] was retired back in 2012.
So we have CW-1 [Emergency] , CW-3 [Talk-around] and CW-4 [Boston Interop]

The SNE wiki should be accurate and Complete

2817 Boston Citywide ATG
2819 Boston Call-In
2821 Boston Emergency aka CW-1
2823 Boston Citywide 2
2825 Boston Citywide 3
