Toledo Police/Lucas County distortion

I am finding that there is a lot of distortion in the Toledo Police talkgroups and cant for the life of me figure it out. It will be clear as day for a few seconds then be extremely distored. Is anyone else experiencing this besides me? Thanks for any advice or help.

That's called -- CQPSK.

Your best bet is to point a directional antenna at your closest tower. If that doesn't work, point it at the other towers until you get the most consistent audio.

I live over by Owens and this area of Perrysburg has horrible reception on the Lucas County System. I have found pointing an antenna at the downtown site has worked the best for me.
