Tone Decoders

Hey all,

I am looking for a program that i can run on my computer that can either take live imput or a recording and tell me the CTCSS tones embedded in the audio.

Also (here's the biggie). I work for a VFD when i'm not here in reno for school and i bought a VHF handheld radio. I programmed it myself, but it has the capability for 2 tone paging. The problem is that even though i can recognize my tones without my pager, i don't know the exact frequency in Hz so a program that would take an audio recording of those tones and spit out the frequency would be nice so i can program the 2 tone paging into my radio. I don't feel like contacting the local radio electronics store because (a) they charge for everything and (b) i know what i'm doing so i can do it myself if i could just find a program.

hmmm, thats a tough one. I don't recall running across a program that can decode tones like that. I checked the software page at www.strongsignals.net and saw nothing there. never underesimate google though. Also, since this isn't a location specific topic, you might post on the main scanning page.

Yea i figured i'd let my nevada buddies hack it out first and then post on the other page
