heard some continuous tone (1Khz) P25 signal testing on 413.4625 on Thursday around noon
usually the NAC code for the Metrolinx channels (if you scan them conventionally) is 1A0.
However the NAC code this time was 293.
Perhaps a new user coming online soon? DRT?
I tried to check if this was coming through on the trunk system but signal was too weak to decode from where I was located (Whitby lakefront area)

Anybody else hear this or have an update on the timeline for DRT to join the Metrolinx system?

The NAC on a P25 trunking system is generally just the system ID. In the case of all the Metrolinx frequencies, it will be 1A0 if it's a trunking channel.

293 is the default conventional channel NAC for most radios. What you saw was that frequency taken out of the trunk rotation and it was probably being worked on.
