Anyone here programmed these before? I have a set, and am looking to set up one of the channels to recieve two-tone alerts. If I set two-tone on a channel, will it keep the channel "closed" while scanning and only open if the two-tone alert is received; or will it continue to act like a scanner and audio any transmissions on the channel (and tone-off if recieved)?

Thanks!

I *think* you would basically need to program two channels. For example:

Ch.1 154.280 Associated with RX 2-Tones, will be muted and left in stand-by mode waiting for tones. (This is your tone-out channel.)
Ch.2 154.280 Not associated with RX 2-Tones, will not be muted, will receive all traffic, unless you programmed in CTCSS/DCS. (This is your monitoring channel.)

I'm not 100% sure, though. I've been playing with the F-33 handheld software and it appears this is the case. The programming software is somewhat clunky.
