"top submitters", numbers beside names??

What exactly do the numbers beside the user names in "Top Submitters" indicate?
Was always curious...

I believe it's the amount of submissions they've sent in.

Well the only thing to add is that quantity does not indicate quality. Not all submissions counted are accepted. :roll:

Yea some people may submit just to see themselves on this list which would be wrong and not fair to people who spend their spare time adding valuable info.

That list only exists because several people were whining about not having any recognition about submissions.

Submitters are known to the admins for two reasons, either they provide good information and are generally recognized (by us) as an asset; or their name comes up a lot in the Admistrator's discussion area and the submissions are generally ignored in mass. But no matter what, that count goes up. To tell the truth, until this topic came out, I had forgotten Lindsay even set it up. :lol:
