Have my SDS200 in discovery mode and there's a lot of traffic on TG 2900, 2901, 2902, and 2903. Appear to be encrypted. Anybody who these TG's belong to?

Have you checked the database? Might be in there. I believe there's an option to list TGs numerically.

There's nothing in the database below TG 3000 for the TOPAZ RWC.

The 2800 range has Phoenix PD, as well as a lot of Interoperability, on the RWC.
The 2900 range is Phoenix PD on the RWC.

TG 2901 is M16, Municipal Emergency to Phoenix PD. It is encrypted.

TG 2904 is G4, Interoperability.

TG 2908 is Phoenix PD Technician.

The others are not listed.

Yes, I do believe that some users can roam between the RWC and TOPAZ RWC. They were at one time one system in the beginning.

Phoenix can roam to Imperial County / San Diego RCS. AZWINS, Riverside County & San Bernardino should also be included? With the new radios, system roaming is not as important. Latest Motorola radios can use ATT/ FirstNet 5G when out of range.

Interesting that mucipal security roams to TOPAZ.

If that TG really is Municipal Emergency to Phoenix PD, and not mis-labeled in the database.

What MIB said jogged my memory.... When I was with Denver PD, I was the unit radio guy for a few years, so I got to know a lot about the metro area trunked programming. All agencies with 700-800 MHz trunked systems used different ranges so they wouldn't interfere if they needed to go to the mutual aid channels we all had. Would be confusing if Denver and Lakewood, for instance, both came up as "Denver".
Thanks, John, 9 years of retirement puts info like that on the back burner!

Did a discovery and analyze on this many months ago and posted in here about this....the 2900 tgs are a simulcast or mirror of the 3000 tgs "Hot" channels for some reason...during my discovery sessions the same unit IDs would be on both....
