TOPEKA, Kan. -- A committee is close to making a recommendation to the Shawnee County Commission about what brand of digital radio system should be implemented for use by all public safety officers in the county, county counselor Rich Eckert said Wednesday.

This will be interesting to see how everything plays out. My bets are on Cassidian or Moto, but we shall see. BTW Thunderbolt, the actual abbreviation for Kansas is KS, not "KN". Just trying to educate as opposed to being nit picky.
