They moved most of the major scene stuff to OPS 4 who was with their own dispatcher. DuComm must have brought someone in or had a Supervisor pull up a console.

Was in Elgin till 9pm last night and heard the first Warnings for Boone/Winnebago/Dekalb ... took off for home and beat the storms. We had rotation just south of Schaumburg IL directly south of us at 355/290 the same time the stuff in N. Aurora/Naperville started up. Ours went e/north east and never developed luckily. Just another reason to have Emergency management and Weather talkgroups OPEN to the public in my view. I Had my Unication G5 and that gave me early warnings to make it back home
