TORNADO RIPS THROUGH PARAGOULD/GREENE COUNTY....ROOFS BLOWN OFF, POWER OUTAGES, MAJOR FLOODING, FENCES BLOWN DOWN, ANTENNA'S BLOWN DOWN AND DAMAGED, TREES ON HOUSES, TREES ACROSS ROADS AND ON POWER LINES, POLES DOWN ON CARS WITH PEOPLE STILL INSIDE, LIVE WIRES DOWN, FENCES PULLED FROM THE GROUND, WINDOWS BROKEN....POLES DOWN AT GREENE COUNTY TECH HIGH SCHOOL...BUILDINGS AT THE FAIR GROUNDS DAMAGED HEAVILY...WATER FAUCETT'S RIPPED OUT OF GROUND AND SNAPPED, DOG PENS ROLLED..
Local News Media *KAIT* is reporting it was either Tornado or the down burst from the tornado.. There was ONE CONFIRMED tornado located near the Paragould Wal Mart Supercenter and one Unconfirmed in the Rector Road Area..
These are the same storms that are affecting the already flooded areas of Hardy and Spring River Area and also damging in the Baxter County/Mountain home and other areas of the state.. These storms have now dissipated into Tennessee and Mississppi states...Photos To Come..
RESCUE CREWS ARE SEARCHING STRUCTURES AND CLEARING TREES AT THIS TIME AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.....THE MAJOR PROBLEM NOW IS WATER OVER ROADS AND IN STRUCTURES...ALL POWER SHOULD BE RESTORED AND BACK ON AT THIS TIME....
