Hey guys..

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what C1 (William Stewart) drives to scenes? How often is he heard on the radio?

I think the TFS Chief runs around with his driver, in a none descript Ford Crown Vic. Just as the District Commanders use.
The only markings are TFS on the right upper corner of the trunk and under the mirrors on the doors. When I was @ TFS HQ , I did not see anything marked with the Chief on it, there was a FCV in that parking spot. I have not heard anything on their band when the Chief is on the road, or at an Incident.

Highlander Hybrid

C1 - 9 (I presume since 9 vehicles were purchased) cruise in a hybrid Toyota.

Hi,

I have it on very good authority that he is using a Toyota Highlander. I didn't ask if it was a hybrid.

Edit: Last month or so, I saw a Deputy Chief driving a hybrid Ford Escape responding to a 3 alarm down town.

It is true, they're using a Toyota Highlander.

Radio is an XTL5000 with fancy O3 head too. Flashed for Omni-LInk but not digital.

And does he have a driver or does he drive himself?

I remember last year he was first on scene at a multi pedestrian struck in Mississauga. I believe he was heard on the radio asking for emerg services to be sent to the scene..
