Toronto Fire encryption for FIFA

TFS has encrypted (AES-256) a bunch of radios (between 20 - 40) on new TFS TG's (fire 1, fire 2) for the FIFA games.


Just posting this as I'm sure someone will notice. No I do not know the TG ID's.

I am running DSD+ on the South Tower. I don't see anything new popping up in the Fire range but I do 3 new TG's popping up in the police range. I am seeing a bunch of affiliations/transmissions for them in the last 12 hours but no KID's yet on TG 486 (53 hits), TG 487 (27 hits), TG 488 (9 hits).

TPS are the ones who programmed the TFS radios with the keys.

However I do not think you would be seeing any activity FIFA related at this point apart from training / testing.

Speaking of which, there has to be a ton of comms for FIFA. Anyone close to the stadium know if there's a new system popping up or if they're on rentals? I'll see if I can go down there some time and have a listen.

I've seen a bunch of new TG's pop up in the last little bit. It does appear to be in the TPS range mainly 464-492. As well as 108 and 109. All P2 with AES

The TG 108 and 109 may be Toronto Fire They sit right between the known Union Station and TFD common channels. If they are not fire TG then its possible they are TG set aside for crowd or shuttle operations from Union Station to the event site.

We may also see some activity on JES TG's as well, hopefully some clear traffic. I imagine if there is an incident TFS related they will still use their existing OPS/Tac channels for communications

I remember during PanAm, there were tons of vendors and contract security with rental radios. Mostly DMR Hytera. I wonder if the BearCom renal Cap+ system will have any activity on it? Also might want to check OnQ as well

I saw a KID of 0025 for TG 104 tonight.
