Toronto Fire, new apparatus type?

I've noticed the past couple weeks a different type of apparatus listed on the Toronto Fire Live CAD...

Today they've appeared again in a fire call.

R224, P226, P227, R225, A322, C22, A226, P323, LA333, HZ332, FI3, FI5, FI8

Anyone have any idea what the FI designation is? Could it be "Fire Investigator"? Different than what the Ontario Fire Marshal office does?

These are the first batch of 35 new fire investigators and enforcement officers that graduated last week and are now on duty. The investigate and lay fire code related charges as applicable.

Do you know if this replaces the OFM investigations in the Toronto Fire service regions?
