Is it possible to monitor the Toronto Fire Services from Niagara Falls, Ont? I have a Antenna tower that is reasonably high. If i add a 800 mhz Antenna will i hear Toronto

I have been down to the falls a few times and have never heard TPS' system.

I think you have a shot at it. Remember that it is just across the lake. If you put up a beam you may end getting it!

I believe a member in Newcastle, 70km east of the south site can get it. Hopefully they will reply and let you know what they are using.
Personally I can recieve it clearly from inside my house in whitby on a 246T with a diamond RH77CA, at a distance of 49km.
Remeber how helpful the lake can be in allowing the signal to travel.

Any antenna you guys suggest, (Duram Radio) I don't have a lot of 800 Mhz knowledge......
